Sorry for double-posting, BUT…
Everyone is confused at Oracle link being the same as the Origional link.
So, I think I’ve found out a solution.
The Zelda wii game takes place BETWEEN link to the past AND Oracle, AND the link from link to the past is the one from Zelda wii, time-traveling all over the place after he beast the bad guy in Zelda wii!
by clipzodai, on June 4 2010 @ 12:22 am
Guys, I found a flaw in the timeline!
Ocaria of time takes up TWO slots in the timeline.
This is because of the huge 7 year gap while Link was trapped in the temple of time!
What this means is…
Twilight princes takes place at the same time as the ADULT part of Ocarina of time, NOT at the sae time as wind waker!
by SpriteGreen09, on June 4 2010 @ 1:04 am
link 2 da past is the english name when the japanese name is The Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods
by majorasmask60, on June 4 2010 @ 1:30 am
i agree
by Groggimus555, on June 4 2010 @ 1:52 am
why in the blue hell did you say they take Ganondorf to Termina!? In Twilight Princess the Arbiter’s Grounds is in the desert NOT the Lost Woods.
by darkfire158, on June 4 2010 @ 1:59 am
So does everyone forget that little fact that the Hero spoken of in Wind Waker is, oh, I don’t know, a child? And the fact his statue in Hyrule Castle is of a child?
by NintendoCrawler, on June 4 2010 @ 2:14 am
uuuuh i don’t think this is right and i KNOW how gannondorf was made send me message if want to know
by lemindrip, on June 4 2010 @ 2:21 am
@jootikala Well they are old witches, in OoT they were like 100 years old, a couple more centuries wouldn’t do much to those two. In the mean time, I think they probably played Bingo and watched reruns of Love Boat and I Love Lucy.
by lemindrip, on June 4 2010 @ 3:16 am
I think it’ll be interesting if in “Zelda Wii” it is the sequel to OoT for the Adult timeline, as Majora’s Mask was for the Child side. Or, if it allowed time travel to other Zelda game stories. The possibilities are endless!
by CinderGamer, on June 4 2010 @ 3:20 am
A Link to the past can be both a prequel and a sequel. You did mention parallel timelines, did you not?
by thelengedaryhero6900, on June 4 2010 @ 4:02 am
5:21 Actually, she says that in Four Swords Adventures.
by MattC10C, on June 4 2010 @ 4:56 am
no they are not, if u Have played the game, it says that it takes place 100 years after and that there ancestors came 100 years ago, and lineneck calls himself linebeck the 3rd and its a new hyrule.
by zeppelin1996, on June 4 2010 @ 5:22 am
No parallel universes! There is only one Hyrule! TP and WW cannot take place at the same time because WW happens after TP, because Hyrule has been flooded in WW. Does anyone see this the way I do? If you do please reply to this! I apologize for splitting up my comments, I always run out of room because of the stupid character count.
by zeppelin1996, on June 4 2010 @ 5:40 am
I will never believe the split timeline because it is impossible! Think about it, if Link goes back in time, it won’t create two universes, because there is only one hero of time. When he goes back in time he will never have defeated Ganon and everything that happened when he was an adult will not exist. Does anyone get what I’m saying???
by vCompact, on June 4 2010 @ 5:42 am
wtf are you talking about?
ST and PH have the same link!! think about it.. Lineback is still there and the both have the exact same style..
by Articuno15, on June 4 2010 @ 6:10 am
think about this. maybe after twilight princess ganondorf was sent back to the sages, whom cursed him and took away his triforce of power. then he didn’t have the control to turn from man to beast. thats probably why hes a beast in all of the original Zelda games, and hes trying to get the triforce to turn back into a man. just a thought

Finally a good source for the minish cap first crap (i made a ryhme)
by jootikala, on June 4 2010 @ 7:36 am
Nice timeline! I have one question for you. Why is the boss Twinrova in the beginning and the end of the “child” timeline? What do they do in the mean time? Maybe Ocarina of time and Oracle of Seasons and time are closer to each other, because Twinrova seems to disappear for a long time.
by alexross8, on June 4 2010 @ 8:20 am
Link to the past is the last mastersword game (thats a fact) , because the ending says that the sword lays to rest forever (As wished by Link).
The four swords link to the past assures of this when it kept that canon.
Anything after link to the past has a different mastersword.
by superspinclaw, on June 4 2010 @ 8:31 am
There are way more than 6 links There are propably like 17 Links counting four swords link and oracle of ages link and the dumb link from Wand of Gamelon
by superspinclaw, on June 4 2010 @ 9:30 am
4:47 WRONG! Link from oracle of season’s ages is not the the same link from zelda and zelda 2
by chevysrule70, on June 4 2010 @ 9:49 am
i’m just wonderin who link keeps on “doing” to make new links…seeing how there are like 10
by superspinclaw, on June 4 2010 @ 10:40 am
@superspinclaw Did I say sam I meant Same
by superspinclaw, on June 4 2010 @ 11:25 am
I agree with everything accept that Oracle of ages/seasons Link is not the same as Link from zelda and zelda 2 Its whole new Link and Minish cap link Is not the sam from four swords. So There are way more than 6 Links
by JigglyPuff569, on June 4 2010 @ 12:05 pm
Here’s the chronological order I believe the games are in after Ocarina of Time:
Child Timeline: Majora’s Mask, Twilight Princess, Minish Cap, Four Swords, Four Swords Adventures, The Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2
Adult Timeline: A Link to the Past, Oracle of Seasons/Ages, Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, Link’s Awakening, Spirit Tracks
